Every spring, the parade season kicks off and local communities allow local businesses and organizations to own their streets for a day. It’s a blast, we love celebrating with our community at the parades! That’s why at Neighborhood we participate in 10-20 of them every year. If you’ve been out to one lately you’ve probably seen us. Our Neighborhood Nick Mascot Float, Motorized Bathtub, Motorized Toilet and Go Kart Race Car have become quite the attraction over the years.

The History Of My Parade Vehicles
Over the years I have built for different parade vehicles. The first one i built was a small go kart race car with our company logo on it.The second was a bathtub. This one was a lot of fun to build and has become even more fun to drive! It can drive at speeds up to 30 MPH. It also has some historical nature to it because back when I was a child my father built a similar parade vehicle. The only difference is that his was made out of cast-iron and so heavy it couldn’t even make it through the first parade! That’s why i made mine out of a more modern fiberglass tub and a three wheeler. The third vehicle I built was a motorized toilet using a bar stool racer and a plastic RV toilet. This little racer will do about 25 and pop wheelies making it a crowd favorite!
A Family Tradition In Memory Of My Grandpa
Every time that i do a parade it reminds me of my grandpa and a picture of him in a parade in the early 1950’s pulling and Out House on a trailer with a banner that said “Modernize It.” At that time the modern American Plumbers were converting homes to have inside plumbing for the very first time. I know that nobody is doing that anymore but i love to carry on the family tradition that my grandpa started back in the day.
